Awesome game! But game-ending crash when fighting Mr. Freeze!!! HELP!

This game is amazing and so much fun but it crashes right as I defeat Mr. Freeze in the Gotham City Police Department and I can’t leave the building or progress in the game I’m stuck. Does anyone know how to fix this?? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
