Quits before even opening the game

Loved this game. Bought a gamepad to go with it. Bought Arkham Asylum. Feral updated this gaema and it’s 100% broken on a 2012 Macbook Pro running El Capitan. Launches, logo/splash comes up and it crashes. Repeat as many times as desired. The sad thing is it’s still listed for sale. It should either be fixed or pulled, as the release notes mention nothing of this. The sadder thing is that Arkham Asylum still plays—Feral probably knows what the problem is, they’re just not addressing it *here.* Same complaints exist at Steam, where the game is also available.

This is a great game but since May’16 it hasn’t worked. Only small picture appears and then game shuts down. Please fix it!

The game was good but could use better weapons and higher technology , like isn’t he batman?.Awesome characters , and awesome moves.I didn’t know all this stuff about the dark KNIGHT until I played the game and realized how awesome batman was.I once liked Iron Man,but those days are over.I mean,I still like Iron Man,but not as much as Batman.took forever to download and kept crashing for a long time.Stinks right?

I bought this game (16 May 2016) for use on my 2006 Mac Pro. I have an ATI 7950 Mac Edition on my machine and have every graphics setting on maximum. The result is beautiful at 1900x1200. I haven’t found Game Centre to be an issue and the game has run non-stop for 4 hours without any problems on 10.11.4. Great work guys - great to see the Unreal Engine put to awesome use - it looks brilliant.

STILL wont work… STILL wont open…. don’t think I will ever purchase anything from the app store again

The game itself is fantastic and has enough content to keep the player busy a while. However, the game crashes often and the last time it crashed it deleted all my progress. The game needs an update so it doesnt crash 3-5 times over the span of an hour.

So I have had this game for my Macbook Pro 15’ since it first came out, sure it would slow down a little but no other major problems. Now with the most recent update it wont even load the game! It gets to the picture of the game but then crashes immediately!! :( The good news is that it hasnt affected my Arkham Asylum game at all (knock on wood). I really hope the developers and the App Store look into this because its not the games fault. The game is still world class, esepcially for being on a mac and having console level quality. Please fix this soon.

Please update this game… I only played it once then right now I cannot even open it. I tried to click Reopen button but still it gives me the same error prompt. I payed for this so you need to fix it. Thank you!

I’m playing this on a macbook air and it works fine for me so far. No GC issues either, although the game doesn’t show up on my GC game list. I’m really happy to have this awesome game for $4.99 too. :D Update June 10th 2016: The game still works and it now shows up on my Game Center account. I do notice some lagging from time to time but it doesn’t bother me at all, I love this game!

Is someone going to update this game? I love it but this is ridiculous that it doesnt work. Its not a cheap game.

I’ve been having so much fun playing this fantastic game, although every time I try and launch the game, the small startup window appears, and then the game completely crashes! This has happened every single time I tried to play the game, and it’s unnacceptable. I know many others are having this same exact problem, so fixing it should be the top priority. Well what are you waiting for? Get working on it!

for a while it had startup issues, but man that doesn’t compare to the joy I’ve had playing this game over and over. from the plot to the characters to the graphics, this is without a doubt the best game I’ve ever played. very happy it’s in the app store, would love to see Arkham Knight!

I SPENT ALL THE MONEY I GOT FROM MY HARD WORKING JOB AT 7/11 AND I TRY TO START IT UP AND PLAY IT BUT IT KEEPS CRASHING. IF YOU DON”T FIX THIS I WILL SWITCH TO MICROSOFT!!

I am using Macbook Pro 13 (2015), great game, I just had to compromise running it in 800x600 resolution. Not a big deal, honestly, I don’t know why there are so many complaints about this game. Just prepare enough disk space, have enough RAM (8 GB or more) and you should be able to play this game. And yes, laptop is not a strong game platform. Hope this helps.

the game does not open any longer keeps crashing. help?

Would rate it 5 stars. Great story, great graphics. It runs surprisingly well on my Macbook Air. The problem is the game just won’t open. The starting screen opens but nothing will launch after that. Please fix it.

So, the game is good overall… when it is not crashing. It currently started crashing, which is annoying as i paid $20 for it. Hopefully an update in the nearby future will fix it.
