just bought this game for my macbook. I asked an apple tech guy if it would play with my compture according to the tech specs. He said it did. IT DID NOT! game crashes before it starts. wont open at all! i want my refund!!!!

Just got this on my mac, cannot get it to run at all. My machine is well within the system requirements. Running El Capitan, so maybe it could have something to do with that?

I have this and TombRaider...they were working just fine, played them with a Logitech F310 over Christmas break and when I came back after putting my mid-2012 MBP 15" Retina to sleep...they refused to open! I restarted, deleted & re-downloaded the game, threw away the preference file, restarted again...nothing. Batman gets stuck at the splash screen and TombRaider doesnt even make it to the title screen, it just hangs. Save your money!! Update 12/29/15: ok so all is well again. Apparently its GameCenter thats the problem. What works for me is to launch GameCenter first, but dont sign in. Then run the game. It should then switch back to a dialog screen asking you to sign-in into GameCenter; choose cancel, and the game should start up fine. Thank you Feral for your support.

Its Batman. Who doesnt love Batman? The game is great. Story is good, feels like the story needs something more to keep it going. Controls are a bit strange. I personally found it extremly difficult to play using the keyboard and pad, mouse would help but a controller will make your life alot easier. Graphics are great and the game is worth getting. Its also the Game of the year edtion, so you dont have to worry about DLC’s because you have them all, which is really nice. If you have a controller your life will be alot easier.

It keeps crashing after a cut randomly, and then recently been deleting my saves. :( but I love how you can buy it off the app store, that’s the only way I can get games now a days

I absolutely loved this game until 11/2015. Sometime during that month the game just stopped opening. I can get to the splash screen, but the game crashes after that. Nothing else has been loaded onto my iMac. I looked online and other people speculate it has to do with the game trying to update. I followed the directions to bypass the update sequence, but the only thing that works is turning off my WIFI. That means no more updates. Oh, and the game now crashes mid fight… so, I guess I am going to uninstall and reinstall? Before all that? Fantastic game. Gorgeous graphics, great story line, decent interaction (would be better with a dedicated controller), and really good cut-scenes. I really want to play this game again. Hopefully, Feral Interactive will find a way to send an update through the Mac App Store to fix this issue once and for all.

It crashes too much to be acceptable, and my game dissapears from the saved games menu! Sometimes is woould appear after restarting it but recently it seems to have completley dissapeared! I lots all of my progress!!!!!!

Except after the last update it will not open and instantly crashes. Endlessly. Was having a blast playing it until this error. Hopefully a fix will be made because $20 is a hefty price to pay for an unplayable game.

This was a pretty good game until the update. I cannot open the game at all. I followed all instructions, but still no game. Please assist, because I paid for this game and there is no way to get a refund.

The game chrashes still on start up. It has been over a month now and this problem is still not fixed this is honestly unacceptable.
